A small herd with big time genetics!

The results demonstrate she is one of the top performance and elite females in the Angus breed!   Her genomic test places her in a league of her own along side of the top proven bulls in A.I. studs.

Rita Lass 004 demonstrates what over 40 years of performance selection can do to improve economically genetic traits.  She was proven on a grass management program.

With no fluff-no corn-no selection for hair, but utilization of grasses (fescue) and you have your ideal type of beef animal, which harvest forage to produce pounds of beef economically!

How did we produce Rita Lass 004?  She was produced through hard work, commitment, dedication and focus on goals with using proven bulls.

For 40 years we have used top identified proven bulls, which basically were Pathfinder bulls.

We selected high ratio yearling females out of top proven performance minded grass management herds in the 1960’s and early 1970’s.

Rita Lass hails from the top classifying cow in the Angus breed during the 1960’s.

Rita Lass 004 traces to 71 Pathfinder bulls and females in her first 6 generations!  That makes her more genetically predictable as the Pfizer test demonstrated.

Rita Lass 004 has multiple economically ranked traits through HD50K genomic test scores from Pfizer compared to all Angus.

¼ to ½ interest!  We are looking for partial owners to help promote this super cow.  Compare her EPD’s to leading sires in A.I. studs!

She is in a league of her own compared to top promoted females and bulls in the breed.  Very few Angus females can reach her genetic ability.  Take the guesswork out of your breeding program.  We have embryos sired by GAR Objective 7125 (ABS), who also is a big time performer on EPD’s and genomic testing.

Take the guesswork out of selection and build a herd out of 40 years of Angus power genetic selection!  Her embryos are available from us and from MultiGen Reproductive Solutions, Dr. Stan Carnes, DVM in Stanford, KY.

If you want one of THE BEST genetic opportunities in the Angus breed, we will be happy to talk to you about owning ¼ to ½ interest in Rita Lass 004!

Genomic Test Scores Indicate Embryo Calves Higher Than Elite Parents!

The results are in for our first embryo calf. These Rita Lass 004 and Objective 7125 crosses represent two of the highest genomically tested EPD Angus in the entire Breed! The high scores are not a surprise as both parents are very deep in proven Path Finder bull sires.

Her first embryo calves look fantastic as far as phenotype, yet their genomic test scores warrant even more careful consideration as very gentle young bulls to sample in an A.I. stud.

The Pfizer 50k profile genomic test scores indicate that we have achieved amazing results with our over 60 years of performance selection from using proven A.I. bulls!  These embryo calves sired by Objective 7125 could be the top genetic package in the entire Angus Breed!

We have selected proven bulls since the late 60’s and the Rita Lass 004 cow family came out of the highest classifying cow in the Angus breed during the 1960’s from the Stone Gate herd in Kentucky.

There are over 70 Pathfinder bulls in the first 6 generations of these embryo calves, which lends to genetic consistency and high predictability as the Pfizer results indicate.

Currently we have 6 embryo calves: 3 bulls and 3 heifers.  Stay tuned for more pictures and genomic test results on all calves.
